Hey there folks,
I thought some of you might find this interesting. A guy on this other
forum I am on - its a 3D Printing forum - just posted the below message.
And, I know there is at least ONE of you on there besides myself that
has a 3D Printer. And, I suspect you may want to try printing out this Fox.
Although - the main reason the guy posted this is because its a
discussion about 3D Scanning - and as you will see the previous Title of
the email thread - this other guy is having a lot of problems with this
3D Scanning setup - and that's why he said it SUCKS.
Anyway - am hoping some folks on here might find this kind of
interesting. And, of course, it is Fox 'related'...

I did this scan with VisualSFM amd MeshLab.

Took a lot of clean up effort on the point cloud before creating the mesh. I also replaced the eyes with some sphere primatives and re ran the texturing on the new combined model. Previously the eyes were sunken and not accurate.
